Altrusa is partnering with Andando for our international service project this year.  Andando is a local non-profit based in Jefferson, Oregon who work with the people of rural Senegal Africa to help alleviate poverty through micro-development.  They have built 14 medical clinics in rural Senegal, which have improved the health care in the rural areas along with providing a safe and sanitary environment for the women to deliver their babies.

 

For this project, we will be creating New Mom OB Kits that will provide new moms with basic items to take home after the birth of their babies.

 

You can support this amazing project by donating new or gently used items (see flyer for items needed) to fill the OB kits that will provided to the mothers upon release from the medical clinic.   You can also purchase a kit for $30 by scanning the QR code provided.
